Since 1999 Dr. Nieman continues to write regular monthly columns for the Calgary Herald. These columns can be found in the archived section of the Herald

On radio, Peter used to be a regular medical contributor with QR 77 radio between 2007 and 2013.

On TV he contributed to A-Channel’s breakfast show with Dave Kelly between 1995 and 2012. He then appeared on CTVs Morning Show as a medical contributor between 2012 and 2018.

Nationally, Peter has done interviews with: the Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, the National Post, the Edmonton Journal, Chatelaine, Today’s Parent, Readers Digest, CBC TV National, CTV National, and Global TV National.
